Hey there. I currently live in Northern Virginia but I'm a Pittsburgh native. I'm a Sr. Data Engineer at my day job, building and maintaining data pipelines for a large pharmaceutical supplier. My daily tasks involve ensuring our builds are on time, without error and modified to fit our customer's needs. A large project I am undertaking is to dynamically input quality assurance tests for a number of our datasets.
Prior to my current role I was an Analytics Engineer, enabling the retention marketing team to scope, iterate and refine their customer communication programs. This work involved interpreting business rules, building data models, and strategizing with the marketing team to scope, prioritize and size initiatives.
On the weekends you'll find me tinkering with my raspberry PI, hiking in the many great areas around Northern Virginia, cooking something new or relaxing outside and reading in the sun. I try to balance my interests between the digital and physical world!
I love learning and experiencing new depths of knowledge. I'm constantly looking for a new area to explore, whether that's a new hiking spot or a new python package.
